As one of my first projects as Executive Creative Director of Mode UW, this photoshoot served as a creative exploration into mood and aesthetic over narrative. While it did not follow a defined storyline, we crafted a visual atmosphere inspired by vintage photography, highlighting texture, tone, and nostalgia. The setting of a vintage car garage offered a gritty yet timeless backdrop, allowing us to experiment with composition and styling that paid homage to retro advertisements while establishing the early tone of Mode UW’s creative identity.
I oversaw the execution of production from planning to post. I ensured all location protocols and guidelines were followed, coordinated attendance logistics for models and crew, and directed on-set posing to align with the visual narrative. As Executive Creative Director, I guided the overall concept and aesthetic direction, ensuring each shot reflected the intended tone.
Post-production involved photo editing and the addition of vintage-inspired graphic overlays to enhance mood and storytelling. The final visuals balanced artistic cohesion with stylized nostalgia, resulting in a conceptually rich, well-executed body of work.
